Which advertising strategy would you like to do? is it offline or online strategy? Share your views. I prefer online advertising to be a better choice. Because if you reach out live, people may remember you. Else in offline advertising, we cannot see the immediate reactions of the public.

I would think that would depend on the type of business. I think advertising is great for getting business from anywhere. If I am trying to focus on business from one area then offline marketing is good. I sometimes advertise my services on Craigslist.org in my specific city as online advertising.

It actually depends upon the type of product you are advertising. In most cases online target advertisements are the ideal ones for attracting traffic and achieving sales. The whole internet earning methods are based on earning commissions through effective marketing strategies to sell the product. However offline advertisements are also good if they are targeted on a demographic basis.

I think a mix of both is suitable, really.  Though lots of people can and do access the Internet all over the world, many persons can't, so ignoring offline advertising is not a sound strategy from my perspective.  When in doubt and if you can afford it, diversify your advertising strategy!

It really depends, but overall, I'd say online. I mean, a lot of people even watch TV online now, so that reduces the effectiveness of television commercials. It's also cheaper, and reaches a larger variety of audiences. The other benefit is that it's so easy for someone to see something they like, and send a quick e-mail link to a friend right away... so you a lot more word-of-mouth as well.

The replies are thought provoking, i must say. I have got a clear view point now on when to go for online advertising and for offline advertising. But i should say that one must know all in and outs of the business and must take advantage of all sorts of advertising mechanisms. So do not stop yourself and do not be pre-determined.

I'm sure that the best way  is to use both advertising online and advertising offline. Each of these  methods have positive and negative aspects. But for my strong opinion they supplement each other.
