Does anyone user YouTube to promote or market their websites? I have heard that it is a good way to get traffic, but really don't know much about it.

It is a simple way to promote your product and sites in Youtube. First you have to make your video and on the lower part of the video or in the side part of it embeed your website address or embed Google adwords ad code in them. Once you have uploaded your video people who are watching the video might come across your ad or site and would browse your site. This is a very useful technique for gaining mass traffic.
