I think that nobody denies the assumption that there is no business without advertising and marketing. But I think that many of the so called entrepreneurs try to use marketing and advertising after reading a couple  of e-books. I'm sure it is a mistake. If you want to achieve the success in the business then  check out  online advertising and marketing degree opportunities and become the professional.

Yes, reading and listening doesn't help you a lot especially in a field like affiliate marketing. If you are really interested in achieving success then everything learning and understanding have to be done in a practical sense. E-books, DVD's doesn't help people a lot especially in becoming a successful one which truly depends on the amount of skill set that each person possess.
